In just eight months, the 17-year-old Queretaro striker went from scoring twice on his Under-20 Liga MX debut in January, to making his professional Liga MX debut in August. The most impressive thing? The promising teenager has not looked out of place in Mexico’s top-flight and demonstrated his quality hold-up play, clever distribution and knack for recovering the ball through pressuring the opposition. Currently a part of Mexico’s youth national team structure, it may be only a matter of time before he gets a a callup to the senior squad, especially if the goals start to flow. Cesar Hernandez
